  • WELCOME!

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME...

I dance with all my might when I know no one's watching.
I love country music, and currently am LOVING the Ed Sheeran + Sara Bareilles stations on Pandora!
Outdoorsy activities make me happy. The warm and fuzzy kind of happy :D
I am a sucker for furry animals and cute old people. No, really. I am.
    Pizza.
I love, love snowboarding. Seriously. Like I REALLY LOVE snowboarding.
I love chatting it up with creative minds.
If I could, I would travel the world with a suitcase full of lenses and my camera, and learn every language I possibly can.

Zarina and Farhad: I DO [Laguna Hills Photographer]

First of all, I can’t believe I haven’t blogged for an entire month! I’ve actually been taking vacations and busy launching the Boudoir side of Pirouette Photography. But at last, here I am! I hope you are all still out there!

Can I just say that EVERYONE at Zarina and Farhad’s beautiful Afghan Wedding could seriously, really dance?! I’m so not even exaggerating. I spent all night admiring the way the ladies were able to move their body in such graceful elegance. To top it off, all the women looked ravishing with their gorgeous, fancy dresses, and all the men looked super polished. I also had a blast secretly boogie-ing behind my lens-in my head-with the great Afghan music. I left Pacific Hills Banquet & Catering at around 1:30AM and all the guests were still dancing! It was awesome!

Zarina, you are stunning and you looked even more beautiful on your wedding day in the perfect dress, perfect hair, perfect makeup, and next to the perfect husband for you! I’m so glad you found me, and am so grateful to have been a part of your most-amazing day! Thank you, Zarina and Farhad- I wish you guys a lifetime of the absolute best :)

Here’s a highlight from your wedding day. Be sure to check out the slideshow for more images (just scroll down and click on the link below). AND please keep a lookout in your email inbox for a link to your private Online Gallery of even MORE images! ;)

Also, a quick shout-out to Jane M. for being such an awesome additional photographer and helping me out!! Hugs to you, Jane!

Boudoir Photography : A New Collection

In case you aren’t yet a fan of my Facebook page, a new division of Pirouette Photography has been launched! It’s official, and it’s Boudoir! It’s not meant to be “risque,” but a classy, the “can-be-modest” type of Boudoir, if you can call it that. I’m really excited about this NEW Collection! So bride-to-be’s and wives…please contact me if you’re even the littlest bit curious in seeing the website. This Blog and the main Website will remain children and family friendly; no Boudoir Collection info will be displayed here. Please fill out the Contact Form to get connected to me and my Boudoir Website. Thank you!! ;)

Operation: Love Reunited : Pre-deployment

Just a sneak peek of a Marine’s pre-deployment session with his adoring wife and daughter! Maddie was such a good baby, and I especially found it entertaining when she would show-off her cutesy smile every time I asked her Mommy and Daddy to get closer to each other. LOVE!!!
Anyway, more to come ;)

The Yangs : Los Angeles Children and Family Photographer

Adelynne is pretty like her Mommy.
Loved hearing Adelynne speak in Chinese (I think her Mandarin is better than mine, actually. Lol).
Little Andersen is hilarious.
Daddy had to work late, and missed the session.
But hope to catch him next time!
I don’t know why I’m writing this way.
I just watched “So You Think You Can Dance” on hulu.com, where the dancers had to say as many things about themselves in just 8 seconds!
…maybe that has something to do with this. Hah!
