Baby Rowen at 2 weeks- A Sneak Peak I fell in love with him when I first met him. I fell more in love with him when I was post-processing. I hope and pray he will grow up to be a man after God’s own heart. Tricia and Andrew, thank you for allowing me the seriously-great honor of photographing your baby and helping you preserve memories of Rowen at this beginning stage of his life here on this earth. Loves and hugs to you!

From its salt flats to its canyons, craters, and even sand dunes, Death Valley is one of the most majestic places our family has visited. There are so many sights and spots to discover at Death Valley. Whether you are up for a day-hike or a week camping trip full of stops around the area, you won’t see anything as peculiar as what you see at Death Valley. Some of its features are: The Great Basin, Mount Whitney, Furnace Creek, Lake Manly, The Badwater Basin, and the Sand Dunes. Death Valley is one of the hottest places in the world. Air temperatures over 120 °F (49 °C) are common during the summer months of June, July, August and September. The record high in the park was recorded in 1913 at a blazing 134 °F (57 °C). Fortunately, temperatures from November through March are mild with highs averaging in the 60s and 70s (15-25) with winter nighttime lows usually in the 40s (5). This makes the winter and early spring the best seasons to visit. When you visit, be sure to bring lots of water to keep yourself plenty hydrated at all times, check Death Valley Weather Forecast before entering the park, and dress in layers (from short sleeve shirts to winter jackets). Make sure your vehicle has a spare tire and emergency kit, just in case (this is a must no matter where you travel to). But most importantly, don’t forget to bring a camera AND a smile on your face!
