Multi-day wedding celebrations make my heart happy. And to be able to be a part of that, especially at a beautiful destination, with a sweet couple like Tiff and Vic, was the sweet and slightly sour strawberry on top of my tart frozen yogurt (insert huge smile and maybe a drool here). I love destination weddings.
On the day of Tiff and Vic’s wedding rehearsal, we all caravanned into town and enjoyed dinner together on the beach. It’s not everyday when I can enjoy an amazingly delicious all-you-can-eat fajita dinner with my bare feet in the sandy beach of Cabo San Lucas, with the sound of waves crashing ashore, watch the sun go down and the moon light up the sky. So heck yeah, it was pretty awesome.
Marbella Suites was closed to the public the day of the wedding; the entire hotel and beach access was exclusive to the closest family and friends of Tiff and Vic. Their wedding was held on the private beach directly behind the hotel. I couldn’t believe my own eyes when I walked into the bridal suite to see Tiff and her bridesmaids doing their own hair. OK, so I do my own hair on a daily basis of course. But I’m VERY limited in what I am physically able do with my hair. To see the ladies to their updo’s with such ease and perfection was truly impressive. The relaxing yet fun vibe of their wedding, complete with churros and a cigar maker on site, was the ideal way to celebrate a destination wedding.
And if you know me, going to Cabo would not have been complete without some sort of adventure. So I decided to…paddle hard. More on my Cabo trip in another future post. In the meantime, please enjoy Tiff and Vic’s wedding highlights:
